ClientFirst Behavioral Health currently has several career opportunities listed below.

1. (Position is Closed) Clinical Director: Must be fully licensed in the state of NC as a LCSW; Licensed Psychologist; LPA; LPC; LMFT; Nurse Practitioner; LCAS, or CCS. Position requires 20 hours of billable services and 20 hours of administrative duties. Salaried Position with benefits.

2. (Position is Closed) Team Leader: This position is for a master's level individual to serve as the Team Leader for an Assertive Community Treatment team. A licensed or provisionally licensed individual is required. Clinical supervision is available on site. This position is primarily a supervisory position, but does require approximately 8 hour per week of direct client care services in the community.

3. (Position is Closed) Looking for a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist (Adult Mental Health). Provide individual and group vocational-supportive counseling and provide services related to employment goals for the population served. Job involves person-centered planning and documentation of services provided. Incumbent will work in the community and in the client’s homes as part of an Assertive Community Treatment Team member. Master’s level in Vocational Rehabilitation preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

4. (Position is Closed) Licensed Qualified Professional: Looking for a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professional. Position requires individual and group therapy; person-centered planning, and documentation of services provided. Individual will be a member of an Assertive Community Treatment Team and will work in the community with the adult, mentally ill population. The ideal candidate will be able to work as a team with other qualified professionals. Preference given to qualified veterans and veteran’s spouses. Competitive salary and benefits.

5. (Position is Open) Part Time or full time Physician’s Assistant. Knowledge of, and experience with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatments is required. Experience on an ACT Team is preferred, but not required.

6. (Position is Open) Part Time or full time Nurse Practitioner. Knowledge of, and experience with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatments is required. Experience on an ACT Team is preferred, but not required.

5. (Position is Closed) Certified Peer Support Specialist with an Assertive Community Treatment Team. Full time salaried position providing direct care to the adult severe and mentally ill population. Services will be provided in the community and in the client’s homes. Requires proof of certification as a NC Peer Support Specialist. GED or high school diploma required. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a mental health and/or substance abuse history and 2 years of recovery. Must be computer literate and demonstrate the ability to write using proper grammar. Experience with Wellness Recovery Action Plans is preferred but not required.

6. (Position is Closed) Psychiatrist 1: An individual who is licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina and who has completed a training program in psychiatry accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Individual may provide medication management and comprehensive clinical assessments or work as part of an Assertive Community Treatment Team. Position is full time.

6. (Position is Open) Psychiatrist 2: An individual who is licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina and who has completed a training program in psychiatry accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Individual may provide medication management and comprehensive clinical assessments or work as part of an Assertive Community Treatment Team. Position may be part time or full time (negotiable).

7. (Position is Open) Nurse: Full time position requires a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, preferably with a bachelor’s degree. Individual will be a member of an Assertive Community Treatment Team and will work in the community with the adult, mentally ill population. Rotation of on-call duties required. The ideal candidate will be able to work as a team with other qualified professionals. Must be computer literate and demonstrate the ability to write using proper grammar.

8. (Position is Closed) Looking for a Masters level QP. Position requires a master’s degree in a human services field with 1 year post graduate experience with the adult mental health/substance abuse population. Experience working on an Assertive Community Treatment Team is a plus. Preference given to qualified veterans and veteran’s spouses.

9. (Position is Closed) Looking for a Bachelor level QP. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1 year post graduate experience with the adult mental health/substance abuse population. Experience working on an Assertive Community Treatment Team is a plus. Preference given to qualified veterans and veteran’s spouses.

10. (Position is Open) Licensed Therapist 1: (LCSW, LPC). Requires licensure by the appropriate NC State Board. Requirements of the position include assessing, diagnosing, treating and counseling adult patients and performing psychosocial evaluations and comprehensive clinical assessments; Flexible schedule. Must be computer literate and demonstrate the ability to write using proper grammar. This position is a contract position with a 60/40 - 70/30 billing split depending on client base.

11. (Position is Closed) Licensed Therapist 2: (LCSW, LPC). Requires licensure by the appropriate NC State Board. Requirements of the position include assessing, diagnosing, treating and counseling adult patients and comprehensive clinical assessments; Flexible schedule. Must be computer literate and demonstrate the ability to write using proper grammar. This position is full-time, salaried with full benefits. Two years of experience required.

12. (Position is Open) Qualified Professional. Looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) speaking individual with a master’s degree in a human services field with at least one year of experience working with individuals that have mental illnesses and or substance abuse problems. Services will be provided in the community and in the client’s homes. Rotation of on-call duties required.

13. (Position is Closed) Employment Support Professional: Position will work in the community with clients and employers to secure client employment based on client qualifications and employer needs. Additional time required for writing daily service notes and attending the daily scheduling meeting. ESP will carry a caseload of up to 20 clients.

14. (Position is Closed) Certified Substance Abuse Counselor or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist for an Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT). Must be fully certified and be in good standing with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board. Experience in providing dual disorder treatment and community based services to SPMI populations is preferred but not required. Supervision for CSAC renewal is provided at no cost to the employee by the ACT Team Leader.
